You are the center of my universe
I like it when you play with me
Even when you kick me
Or throw me across the room
I know that you love me
And when you hit me with things
Or push me around
Still, I know that you love me
When you leave me alone at night
Or abandon me without a thought
I trust that you still love me
Because although I lay helpless,
Lying on the bamboo floor
Staring at the time ticking by
And willing the sun to rise
Eventually, you come down the stairs
And play with me again.
*Currently, this is CJ’s favorite ball. It’s pretty much been through it all. And the coolest part? It lights up too.*

Thanks. It was…challenging to write.
Several of Gia’s toys could write this poem as well. So creative!

So cool. Love how you did this…..who knew what a ball thought? LOL

As soon as this blog make-over is done, I have got to get back to writing me some prose! All I can think in is HTML and CSS right now.
and nothing rhymes with either

Oh, I love that you captured a favorite toy! It’s so very fun to look back and remember what they were into at different ages!
{I have to admit that you threw me off with the “throw me across the room” Clever girl, you!

I’m glad you liked it. I was trying to keep people guessing til the end. Heehee.
Sweet poem! If my kids’ toys could talk…they’d tell horror stories!

Oh I totally understand what you mean!
My litlte guy is really into balls, too. He doesn’t have one that light up, though. I am sure that one like that would be a BIG hit!

You know I can’t even remember where we got this one. But he likes non-light up balls too – that’s why he tends to take his sisters’ balls too! LOL
Such an adorable bunch of great rhymes! You’re really talented! The ball has to be proud because of this great poem!
