#1: June 5 Just A Word
Pick a word that best describes your person. Then use it to make an Acrostic Poem. An acrostic poem, sometimes called a name poem, uses a word for its subject. Then each line of the poem begins with a letter from the subject word. This type of poetry doesn’t have to rhyme.
First, I’d like to apologize for being super late with this poetry linky. It’s been pretty busy around here. Plus, I’ve been tying my best to catch up on homeschooling because I seriously don’t want to do schoolwork all of summer! This means that during the day, I (painfully) force myself to keep my laptop upstairs and my Kindle Fire off. Now if I could just keep off my phone…
Anywho, this month’s first prompt is super easy. Maybe you all can try it and convince others to do the same? It would be wonderful to have new friends to join us this week!
So, I dedicate to my husband, the word…..AWESOMESAUCE. It’s pretty much the IT word around the social media world lately. It encompasses everything cool and good and, well, awesome.
My husband is…
Always
Willing to give
Each child
Some
Of his
Most
Excellent
Sage
Advice
Until the
Cows
Eventually come home!

Excellent idea. I liked that.
Thanks!
I love this idea, have you ever seen the Nicholson Cage film called Kiss Of Death, the main bad guy in that film is always encouraging people in the film to do this!
LOL. That’s kinda funny. I’ve never seen it, but now I have to go find out for myself! Thanks!
Dude I use Awesomesauce like daily.
Because you are also awesomesauce.

Mine has been so helpful around the house and with the kids lately too. After 6 years of go go go and give give give, I am finally catching my breath!

Thank you. Homeschooling though, I must admit, is the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my entire life. Yes, much more difficult than having a baby!
