Green is not particularly my favorite color, but there are some green things that I happen to like.
Here are 10 of them – which probably is my limit for green favorites. My favorite color is actually red.
1. Philippine Rice Terraces - one of my favorite natural features of my home country
2. Philippine Rainforest – I’ve lived up in the provincial mountain before and it’s beautiful!
3. Poison Dart Frog - They’re small. They’re cute. And they can totally protect themselves.
4. Money - What? Doesn’t everybody wish they had enough of it? I just want to pay off all my loans!
5. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - The cartoons, movies, and video games. I loved them in the 80′s.
6. Italian Countryside - Wish that I could see it someday. And wish that I could live someplace just as beautiful.
7. Watermelon - I love to eat this fruit cold on hot summer days!
8. Kermit the Frog - He. Was. Cool.
9. St. Patrick - He used the 3 leaf clover to explain the Trinity. That’s why St. Patrick’s Day is linked to green.
10. Christmas Trees - Christmas really is my favorite time of year. And breathing in that pine scent every morning in my living room and seeing all the beauty that tree symbolizes just makes my every day awesome. I love Christmas!

Thanks. I didn't really think there were so many green things out there. After reading all the lists, well, I'm still not a fan, but it's interesting!

I've always thought the poison dart frogs were awesome too and I would love to visit the rainforest or Italy.
Your list is great!

Thanks. Those frogs are wonderful works of nature! And rainforest and Italy are on my bucket list – if I had one.
I love Christmas trees too! The photos of your home land make me want to go there. My husband's ship just left there a little while ago and he got his full of lumpia and pancit! I wish I could have flown over to meet him there so I could see everything. I like the addition of Kermit the frog, I'm seeing he is quite popular on these lists

Of course. How could anyone go to the Philippines and NOT get lumpia and pancit? I'm lucky my mom and grandma know how to make them! And yes, Kermit does look to be the popular guy. LOL

Yep. Christmas! I can hardly wait for this year's Christmas season to begin. In the Philippines, it starts once the month ends in -er. So basically, they start preparing and decorating in September! And I think Christmas is celebrated the longest time there too. I totally miss it!
Yay for TMNT! My husband is a fan and he has made me a fan of them as well (as well as other 80's & 90's kitschy shows)

I love the 80's! Shows, music, and fashion! LOL.
I love your list!! Great pictures, especially number 1…that is awesome! Love the smell of pine too.

That's why I always try to get my husband to get a "real" Christmas tree because I love waking up to that smell in the morning!
That poisonous frog is beautiful, pity it's poisonous!

Well, it's actually a good thing they're poisonous because they get to survive longer – predators recognize their bold colors mean "Don't eat me, or you'll die!" Good strategy, huh?

I was just thinking about St Patrick's day too – the whole green thing theme. And the three leaf clove also in my head, but didn't remember the name in English. LOL.
And of course, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!"

Thanks. Kermit is THE frog of all time! No other amphibian will reach the heights he has obtained in Hollywood. =)

I think we're all in a watermelon mood now. I just read that seeded watermelon are juicier and sweeter than seedless ones. Good to remember!
I love Christmas too. There is something so special about putting up the Christmas tree and turning on the lights every morning.
